We work alongside schools to aid the professional development of teachers, build confidence and skills in students, and enhance the national curriculum.

Our arts and culture programme offers rich opportunities for both primary and secondary schools to draw inspiration from, and to embed arts and creativity across the curriculum.

Pic ‘n’ Mix – a year-long programme focusing on developing visual literacy and film/media skills, with the support of partners THAMES, BFI and Intofilm. FREE to participating Tower Hamlets primary schools, it offers teachers CPD (Continuing Professional Development), a filmmaker in schools thanks to Chocolate Films, and the opportunity to screen pupils films for the My Tower Hamlets schools film festival here at Rich Mix (see the just-realeased short film here!).

Bespoke - We’d love to invite you and your pupils to Rich Mix to take part. We’re interested in working with schools to develop work that enhances your curriculum around the themes and creative practices that our diverse programme provides. There's event the chance to involve young people in developing our programme - check out the latest Behind the Scenes and Screens for Kids in Museums Day 2017 where Tower Hamlets kids take over Rich Mix, discovering what happens behind the screens and scenes of a cinema and arts venue!

Pick a Flick – So you want to bring your students to see a film on the big screen! We host private group screenings - choose from a selection of your favourite films for your group to see here.

Intofilm – We are proud to host screenings from the annual FREE schools Film Festival for 5-19 year olds. Intofilm inspires young people to watch, make and understand film in new and creative ways.
