Do you have a new, old, or odd-legged original concept you've needed to get on its feet? Is your mouth burning from holding in too much fire? Is your chest humming and sinews shaking with songs stitched to your sternum? If so, this is the night for you.

Seeking spoken word poets, theatre makers, musicians and all in-between aged 18-26 to feature at Epic Speeches/Lyric Stages: a one-off open scratch night curated by Gabriel Akamo, as part of the Rich Mix Youth Takeover Festival, delivered by Rich Mix and somewhereto_. Epic/Lyric is a celebration of London’s lyrical prowess and cross-form artistic audacity. It's a night of original music, theatre, and verse - somewhere between an open mic and a scratch night.

As well as an open mic, there are six fifteen-minute showcase slots to grab: one each for two spoken word artists, two theatre makers, and two musicians. Group applications from poetry collectives, theatre companies, and bands are welcome!

The  work you want to perform must not have been professionally produced before - this is a night to test, ingest, and connect.

No disclaimers, no apologies, and no covers (sort of).
