Rich Mix Open
Until Monday 17 April
Celebrate new beginnings with a weekend of food and fitness in the open air, free family activities and evenings filled with live music and short films.
We’re reclaiming our back garden - Redchurch Yard - after the harsh cold winter and bringing it back to life with delicious street food pop-ups from our neighbours and local suppliers, curated by Rockadollar. Featuring streetfood from Hola Guacamole, Wop Food, Blu Top Ice Cream, Blooming Tasty and Rockadollar Dogs.
Fill your lungs with song, shake off those cobwebs and join us for free drop in yoga and fitness sessions. We'll be hosting a market and calling on some of our good friends (like House Gospel Choir) to deliver fabulous, free workshops.
Saturday and Sunday daytime activities have been planned with families in mind - events and workshops for the young (and young at heart)! The evenings are for grown ups, with live music, street food, open mic and film screenings (16+).
Artist Diana Jones has been working with Columbia Primary, Morpeth Secondary, St Hilda’s East Women’s Group and LBTH Woodcraft folk to upcycle waste materials into fantastic flora and fauna to adorn Rich Mix's Redchurch Street entrance over the Rich Mix Open weekend. They’ve also transformed our Main Space especially for the weekend, inspired by Bengali New Year motifs.
