Rainbow Film Festival 2018

Until Sunday 22 July

about the festival:

The annual Rainbow Film Festival is organised by the Rainbow Film Society, a non-profit charity with the objective of advancing the education of the arts, particularly in film and allied visual techniques. Based on Hanbury Street, it's a local charity that organises regular film screenings and training for local community people.

One of their major works is to engage a local population that otherwise would have no access to films. However, the festival also aims to involve all audiences in discovering foreign film, and will provide English sub-titles and market the festival accessible to these audiences.

Another important aim is exploring the history and the culture of other countries and their traditions, through a better understanding of cultural diversity, racial harmony and community cohesion.
