Takeover 2018: An Intro to Poetry

Thursday 2 August
Venue 2

Poetry can be daunting, especially for newcomers. This workshop will see Cameron Holleran, former Barbican Young Poet and poet-in-residence for UCL's Institute for Global Prosperity, demystify, unravel and rebuild what poetry means to you.

Come with no ideas, come with a hundred. You'll be given creative challenges that will get you writing and give you the tools you need to hammer your words into a poem. All poetry starts with a blank space – together, we can fill it!
