Takeover 2018: A Buried Time
Sunday 29 July
All orders will be subject to a fee of £1.50 except if your tickets are free or if you are a member
“The pavement cracked six months ago. The council sketched a warning around it with incandescent chalk, loudly proclaimed they’d repair it soon, and left.”
Armed with a microphone each and a tale to tell, poetry collective None of the Above present their new spoken word storytelling show about the inhabitants of a strange street.
The street has had many names but none anyone can remember. They don’t know why the lady at 53 writes postcards to herself every day. They don’t know why the old man at 84 is digging his way to the centre of the earth from his basement. They don’t know why no one leaves and why no one ever arrives.
But everything happens for a reason, no?
