In a nutshell
mingbeast brings together brand new original performances by UK and International artists working in theatre, live and visual art, dance and music.
EXHIBITIONS is a platform for new and experimental work in progress offering emerging artists a space in which to show and test their ideas in development. At the same time it offers audiences the opportunity to see these ideas in their most, raw, risky and exciting form.
Join us for a night packed full of exciting new performance.
What to Expect
CABLE ATTRACTION (FOR LUKE) by Aidan Strudwick (UK)
A portrait of man through his Facebook updates: we’ve all stalked someone on Facebook, I think it’s time we acknowledge it.
JEREMIAH COMBYNE: SHAMANIC STRIPTEASE by Daniel P Cunningham (ZA)
Jeremiah is on a mission to heal London, one lap dance at a time
Witness a Shamanic Striptease
A man of milk and honey, hailing from Kwa-Zulu Natal in South Africa
Jeremiah Combyne dreams in black and white but bleeds rainbow
UN-MOORED by Amy Steel (UK)
with music by Gaspar Narby (CH)
A performer dressed as a synchronised swimmer sits beside a fish tank. Using her breath as the only catalyst for movement the cut out synchronised swimmers float around the tank in a slowed down motion, turning what is ordinarily a very fast, and heightened performance into a meditative and peaceful experience.
IN BURROWS by Andy Edwards (UK)
In burrows. A description of an unseen image in fifteen minutes. Burrowing in.
‘IT JUST SORT OF HAPPENS ONE DAY…’ by Sarah Poekert (US)
A contemporary dance piece exploring how one creates a sense of home for themselves – settling and uprooting and settling again to be uprooted again.

Why does Rich Mix matter?
'RM is an inclusive place that is genuinely diverse in both the people who go there and the art it supports. It does support artists to make their work. It gives audiences real choice and RM reflects on what it’s doing and how to improve and it involves the people it works with in this process.'
