YoPro Collective presents
Sunday 14 August
In a nutshell
Emerging performance artists demonstrate works in progress, followed by an informal Q&A and Open Space discussing 'Changing London'
This Scratch Night provides a platform for emerging performance artists to showcase their work in progress and receive feedback from an audience.
After the Scratch, there will be an opportunity to talk about the show in an informal ‘Artist and Audience Chat’ to give both the chance to discuss the work and ask each other questions.
The night will also include an 'Open Space' discussion to talk about how London is changing and the effect this is having to our everyday lives in the city.
What to expect
Expect to see scratch performances – works in progress that the artist is looking to develop. They will all be at a different stages in their development, and the audience can help by providing feedback and suggestions.
The YoPro Collective consists of several young producers based in London and Kent who came together at the start of 2016 to produce various events for Battersea Arts Centre’s Homegrown Festival. They work with a wide variety of different artists to create exciting, innovative productions.
Why does Rich Mix matter?
'Rich Mix provides a vital platform for artists from all backgrounds to demonstrate their work for a diverse audience. By embracing a range of artistic disciplines, they have created a creative community that is welcoming to everyone.'
