Created and hosted by poet and musician, Chris Redmond (BBC R1,2, 4, XFM, CBBC, SKY Arts), it is a riotous experiment in live literature, music and improvisation.

What to Expect
Tongue Fu is part show, part experiment with well crafted words at it's core. It is about artists taking risks together. There is no rehearsal. Performers give musicians and VJs a small hint of what their piece is about, someone starts playing and they see where the collaboration takes them. The music can jump anywhere from weird folk, Brazilian rhythms, experimental jazz to hip hop. Sometimes all in one track. It’s lively and completely fresh each time.
Rob Auton is an award winning stand up clown poet philosopher who's been championed by Jarvis Cocker, Russell Howard and Cerys Mathews and has appeared on all the TVs. "Charming, eccentric and uplifting, Auton is a talent to watch." The Independent
Ansuman Biswas is an extraordinary interdisciplinary artist whose work includes translating Tagore’s poetry from Bengali, designing underwater sculptures in the Red Sea, living with wandering minstrels in India, being employed as an ornamental hermit in the English countryside and touring with Björk.
Belinda Zhawi is an incredible Zimbabwean Londoner poet and educator. Formerly London Laureate and Associate poet at ICA, she's performed everywhere from Barbican to Bestival to Ch4's Random Acts
Caroline Teague is a slam winning, wonderful singing, poet and storyteller. Disarming honesty, well crafted lyrics and deft ukulele skills.
Chris Redmond is a writer, musician and Fu founder, published by Burning Eye & featured on BBC R1, R2, R4 and Sky Arts. ‘…a wordsmith wizard’ The Poetry Book Society
