Writers’ Centre Kingston and The Enemies Project presents

European Poetry Festival

Saturday 7 April

In a nutshell

European poets read new collaborations in pairs.

Go on...

An amazing opportunity to see some of the most exciting contemporary poets from all over Europe, as over 25 poets travel to London to share brand new collaborative poems, premiered on the night and written for the occasion, in pairs, across languages, styles & nations. Expect experimentation, innovation and performance - these are the best and brightest, from Iceland to Italy, from Holland to Spain, from Poland to Norway – a unique evening of modern literature which will show the power of 21st century poetry in the literary and avant-garde traditions, and the possibilities of collaboration to bring out that power and form communities of writers. Curated by SJ Fowler.

What to Expect

Pairs of poets read new works in the literary and avant-garde traditions. Expect readings and performances.

Why does Rich Mix matter?

'Rich Mix is home to the world in London, a place for new artists to grow and for experimentation to flourish. Without the generous support of the institution, there would be no Enemies Project. I’m sure that’s true of many other organisations.'
