To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the 1967 Abortion Act, Abortion Rights are putting on evening event with a leading lineup including Bridget Minamore, Kate Smurthwaite and Grainne Maguire
What to Expect
Come along with your pro-choice pals and celebrate abortion activism of the past, present and future. The evening promises an amazing lineup of feminist speakers, performers and comedians.
Host Kate Smurthwaite is a popular stand-up comedian and feminist activist
Grainne Maguire is a writer of comedy, tweeter of periods and very funny person
Sabrina Mahfouz is an award-winning, prolific and unique poet, playwright and performer
Lucy Porter is a hugely successful comedian and much-sought-after comedy writer
Bridget Minamore is an exciting poet and writer dealing with race, class and feminism, and advocate for sexual violence victims
