Thursday 16 June
In a nutshell
DJ and producer Rainer Trüby will treat the audience to one of his signature funky house sets following the day’s match.
What to expect
An established name on the German DJ scene (his club residency Root Down at Waldsee/Freiburg is now 18 years old!), Trüby will be bringing London a taste of his party-starting sets, no doubt including some rare vinyl treats! Watch the football and stick around for the party…
On the big screen
England v Wales / Group B / 2pm
Ukraine v Northern Ireland / Group C / 5pm
Germany v Poland / Group C / 8pm
Rainer Trüby got his first break with a Sunday night residency at ON-U club in Stuttgart where the motto was ‘all things nice’ - ranging from Soul to Funk to Jazz to Hip Hop. Since then he’s worked with artists such as Frederic Galliano, Thievery Corporation, Nitin Sawhney, Bebel Gilberto, Turntablerocker, US3, Kim Sanders, Wagon Cookin´ and Klaus Doldinger. And he’s still keeping things nice, adding a love of house music to his signature funky style.
