In a nutshell

Hear from funding experts and funded artists and pitch your ideas to fast-track your music careers.

Go on...

PRS for Music Foundation is the UK’s leading charitable funder of new music. Get valuable advice on writing funding applications, and hear about the impact funding can have on your future musical career.

What to expect

In this session, you will hear from Senior Grants Manager, Joe Frankland about various funding schemes available to emerging artists, songwriters, composers, producers and bands writing their own music.

There will be case study artists, Nwando Ebizie and Roshi Nasehi, telling the group about the impact of funding, as well as practical advice for funding schemes such as The Open Fund, Women Make Music, Momentum, the Steve Reid Innovation Award and The Composers’ Fund. We will be joined by Sound and Music staff to hear from them about available developmental and funding support available to music creators. Kofi Kyei (Urban Development) will talk a little about their programme.

Attendees are given the opportunity to pitch upcoming plans to get advice on funding applications.

There will also be a chance for informal discussion and networking.

Why does Rich Mix matter?

'Rich Mix is a creative space that allows emerging music creators to thrive – something PRS for Music Foundation is happy to support.'
