In a nutshell

A special night of live music featuring upcoming Algerian bands stretching North African sound across the Sahara, the Sahel and West Africa. A debut not to miss!

Go on...

A unique musical experience from North and West Africa, two regions we very rarely see on the same stage, as Algerian Rai, Ghanaian High-life, Saharan Sufi, trance Gnawa and Burkinabe Mandingue, seamlessly blend together on the same stage.

A rare chance to see very representative and emblematic music projects, and delve in to the contemporary cultural and art trends in Algeria.

What to Expect

Nazim Zeyrab project will kick off the night with Algerian Blues and Gnawa before El Foukr R'Assembly takes over with sounds conceived and performed by Algerian, Ghanaian, Burkinabe and Ivorian musicians. The night will close with a dance DJ dropping the hottest African mixes amongst classics and hits, featuring Afrobeats, Afro-House and Afro-Trance.

Who's Involved

El Foukr R'Assembly is a 6 piece Trans-Saharan Groove band formed on the road across Algeria, Ghana and Burkina Faso before finally settling in Ivory Coast. The resulting sound is a voyageur musical manifesto heralding a new genre blending Algerian Rai, Saharan Sufi, Ghanaian High-Life, and Burkinabe Mandingue.

Nazim Zeyrab Project is an upcoming singer, songwriter and musician of the North-African fusion style, mixing contemporary Gnawa sounds with scruffy electric guitar riffs and jazzy modes.
