East London Arts and Music presents

Late Greats

Tuesday 20 March

In a nutshell

ELAM’s next wave of talented trainees take on music from musicians we’ve loved and lost.

Go on...

After selling out the Camden Assembly, the Yr12s take to the road for the second time, taking their music to Rich Mix! This one-night event promises to be another night of inspiring performances from London's next wave of industry professionals.

East London Arts & Music is the industry academy for 16- to 19-year-olds. We are focused on developing the next generation of creative and business talent, providing the recognition, professional skills and opportunities to better the music industry of tomorrow. ELAM Trainees work and learn alongside the industry's leading organisations and professionals, completing real world projects and work placements and performing at London's historic music venues.

What to Expect

From Queen to Whitney, Lennon to Aaliyah, join us as nine of our bands take to the stage to perform short sets of music from great musicians who left this world too soon. With over 2 hours of big tunes, what’s not to like?

What people are saying

'ELAM provides an amazing opportunity for young, talented people to realise their full potential the same way I did' - Jamal Edwards MBE

Why does Rich Mix matter?

'It is an honour to collaborate with Rich Mix, to give exposure and experience to the talent of tomorrow. With more and more creative hubs and venues closing down, it is now more important than ever to support local talent.'
