Wednesday 25 October
Main Space

In a nutshell

An evening of conversation reflecting on the impact of the Russian Revolution: one hundred years ago and now.

Go on...

Our October Café, held on the anniversary of the October Revolution a century ago, explores its impact on Russia today. We’ll bring together artists, activists and writers, including Natalia Koliada from the Belarus Free Theatre, Soviet-born British journalist, author and TV producer Peter Pomeranzev and Vladimir Ashurkov, Russian dissident and colleague of anti-corruption crusader Alexei Navalny, to look back and reflect on the potential for a future Russian Revolution that might shake the world. There’ll be some explosive live music and djs to accompany the conversation.
