Dash Arts presents
Dash Café: Dash’s Five Year Post Soviet Journey
Wednesday 22 November
In a nutshell
An evening of conversation and live music exploring how Russian politics and the arts have changed over the last five years.
Five years on from our first Dash Café with artists from the post Soviet States, Dash Arts is finally bringing REVOLUTION17 to a close. Over the last 5 years, we have presented 54 Dash Cafes with over 300 exceptional artists, plus screenings, gigs, and the Dash Arts Dacha, and travelled and run workshops across the region. Our final Café will attempt to look back on the last five years, and with a group of exceptional colleagues and friends including Oliver Bullough and playwright Natalia Vorozhbit explore how politics and the arts have changed over the period. Plus there’ll be live music from our great friends Mazaika and Sasha Ilyukevich and tunes from DJ Mourrka.
Why does Rich Mix matter?
'Rich Mix is an important cultural centre for the development of arts and performance in London particularly those addressing the complexities of Eastern European culture and the post-Soviet space.'
