In a nutshell
ASYLUM 2017 presents a night of migration blues with text and performance drawn from the brilliant novella Soul by the great Russian writer Andrey Platonov, live music and DJs.
This Autumn, Dash Arts is working with some of London’s exceptional migrant artists in its brand new International Perfomers Laboratory. Join them for their closing party on Saturday 2nd December to hear a selection of the performance and collaborations that emerged through their laboratory, plus live music and djs.
They'll be sharing work from Platonov’s Soul, an extraordinary tale of a nomadic community of different races and ethnicities in Central Asia in the 1930s. Soul speaks to the heart of the crises of our time, and does so through a masterfully poetic lens. It will be brought to life by an ensemble of London-based talented performers originally from another country, across art-forms, languages and cultural background with fantastic live music and raucous dancing tunes.
What to Expect
Live music, theatre, djs and a Dash Arts Party.
