Parents & Babies: The Happy Prince
Monday 18 June
All orders will be subject to a fee of £1.50 except if your tickets are free or if you are a member
about the film:
Building from his own lauded stage portrayal of Oscar Wilde in David Hare’s The Judas Kiss, Rupert Everett plays the literary genius as he lives out his last days in exile in Europe.
The Happy Prince travels through Wilde’s final act, as he journeys in faded glory from England to France and Italy.
As dear friends and passionate old flames re-enter Wilde's life, desire and loyalty face off, the transience of lust is laid bare, and the true riches of the artist's life are revealed.
