LSFF 2018: PICTURES SNATCHED OUT OF THE FRAME (official competition)
Wednesday 17 January
All orders will be subject to a fee of £1.50 except if your tickets are free or if you are a member
ABOUT THE FILMS:
Memories can help us make sense of the past, but the past can sometimes feel like another country.
These short films can show the past as both confusing and rose-tinted, like looking through an old photo album where nothing is what it seems.
Watch out for Toby Jones (Berberian Sound Studio, The Hunger Games) as a washed-up TV host, and Josh O’Connor (God’s Own Country) delving into the past of homosexual life in fifties Britain.
Between (dir. Toa Stappard | UK | 15 mins)
Martin Cries (dir. Jonathan Vinel | France |16 mins)
Kara (dir. Deepa Keshvala | UK | 13 mins)
100 Women I Know (dir. Phoebe Montague | UK | 13 mins)
The Colour of His Hair (dir. Sam Ashby | UK | 23 mins)
The Entertainer (dir. Jonathan Schey | UK | 15 mins)
This event is wheelchair accessible.
