WHAT'S IT ALL ABOUT?

James Ball (Wikileaks, The Guardian, BuzzFeed) joins the East End Film Festival to discuss his new book Post-Truth: How Bullshit Conquered The World with host Dino Sofos (Senior Social Media Editor, BBC Politics).

This event will also include the world premiere of Dearborn, a new film from Katharine Round (The Divide) and Ben Steele about America's remarkable new political climate.

TELL ME MORE (DON'T WORRY, NO SPOILERS)

With the seismic events of Brexit and the election of Donald Trump, reality seems to have been turned on its axis.

£350 million a week for the NHS, "Making America great again," Brexit, fake news… 2017 seems a place where cold, hard facts have less importance than ever before and political figures are able to deny the things they said the day before.

Join EEFF for a special in-conversation event with James Ball (Wikileaks, The Guardian, BuzzFeed) about his new book Post-Truth: How Bullshit Conquered The World, hosted by Dino Sofos (Senior Social Media Editor, BBC Politics).

This event will also include the world premiere of Dearborn, a new film from Katharine Round (The Divide) and Ben Steele about the American town that finds itself at the centre of the new political climate.
