Rich Mix presents

My Tower Hamlets’ LBTH Primary Schools Film Festival

Thursday 22 March

In a nutshell

12 LBTH Primary Schools share their ideas through film about living and going to school in Tower Hamlets.

Go on...

The celebration and culmination of Pic ‘n’ Mix, a Film Education and Media Learning programme for Tower Hamlets Primary Schools delivering curriculum objectives and exploring cross curricular links.

The Festival is a result of a programme of filmmakers in schools working directly with pupils and their teachers making films. The workshops offering experience of working with professional artists at a high level and for teachers to put into practice skills and knowledge achieved from CPD training.

The films, screened on large cinema screens, present a wide range of ideas and techniques, including a variety of animation styles and approaches to documentary films. The liveliness of ideas about the experience of living and going to school in Tower Hamlets is both thought provoking and endearing with the opportunity to tell their story.

The Festival film will also be screened at PLAY-HOUSE on Sun, 1 Apr, for all the friends and families of the pupils to share in the celebration.
