Everyone a Maker: Market Day - Session 1

Sunday 17 June
Venue 1
free

In a nutshell

It’s Market Day! Join the family fun exploring the possibilities of paper. Create objects using paper-crafting techniques to take simple 2D designs and turn them into amazing 3D objects.

Go on...

Objects can tell us a lot about our communities and who we are. Explore the history, life and culture of East London and our wonderful local markets. Families will learn how to create 3D paper objects with a few simple tricks to make their very own paper ‘Antiques’ to add to our pop-up market stall.

What to expect

This is a family art making drop-in. Activites will mainly include colouring, cutting and paper crafting. Families will be introduced to 'nets' and learn how to use these templates to create 3D paper art.
