Saturday 30 September
All orders will be subject to a fee of £1.50 except if your tickets are free or if you are a member
In a nutshell
Made between the UK and Egypt, (Un)Covered is a solo dance theatre action exploring who we are as women inside our clothes.
How we can embody empowerment, against the politicization, violence and control society imposes on our bodies, via the clothes we wear. This issue connects us all, across borders and transcending cultural difference. The freedom is not in what you wear or don’t wear- it’s in the choice.
What to Expect
Contemporary dance artist Zosia Jo explores her experiences of living in Egypt and in the UK as a woman, the prejudice she encountered in both places and within herself. This is her reaction, and her solution. Q&A after the show.
