The Breakup Monologues Workshops

Friday 17 November
Venue 2
free

In a nutshell

A free, introductory workshop exploring comedy and pathos with author and comedian Rosie Wilby

Go on...

Award-winning comedian Rosie Wilby explores the use of comedy writing techniques to create performance pieces that navigate through life's more challenging personal events. Does tragedy plus time always make for comedy? How much time is enough time? She also leads a discussion on our responsibility towards the other people involved in a story when writing about real life events..

This informal pre-show workshop is part of Queer'Say Revolution Edition: The Breakup Monologues. Participants are welcome to stay on for the event featuring Rosie Wilby, Elf Lyons, VG Lee and Sarah Keyworth
