At Tongue Fu, the UK’s finest spoken word artists (poets, writers, comedians and storytellers) perform to sublime improvised soundtracks from the genre-defying Tongue Fu band. Curated and hosted by poet and musician Chris Redmond, Tongue Fu is about risk taking; coaxing performers, band and audience to leap before they look. It’s raw, un-rehearsed, spontaneous and frequently brilliant as a result.

"It's poetry, but not as you know it…amazing to listen to” The Guardian

“Top performance poetry night” The Independent

“Tongue Fu is at the high end of the scene.” Time Out
