A verbatim play about Love

Cora and William were married on the Kingsland Road in 1956 and still remember the smell of the old citroen that William proposed in. Kate bought a house with her fiancée only to split up a few months later but still has expectations for Valentine’s Day, Imke simply loves the quickstep and Myles found himself dangling from a rooftop in pursuit of love. Created from interviews with individuals living and working on the Kingsland Road this heart-warming show interlinks the personal love stories that unite the East London community.
