Offering a party atmosphere of spoken word, music and dancing under one roof, it features poets from Eastern Europe including Bohdan Piasecki (Poland), Maria Slovakova (Slovakia), George Szirtes (Hungary) as well as spoken word commentators offering their own takes on football obsessions and poetics.
There will also be a video-performance by Rob Gallagher, a musician, producer, and spoken-word artist - well known as a founder and member of Galliano, a London-based acid jazz group.
Curated by Melanie Abrahams, the evening offers a special street food menu, live samba, music by DJ Cliffy of Batmacumba fame and plenty of opportunity to dance and soak up the chilled atmosphere.
