Award winning comedy night Knock2Bag will once again be strutting their stuff in East London for their bi-monthly residency at Rich Mix, dolling out a goodie bag of hilarity with an eclectic mix of phenomenal comedians.
This month features:
- Star of BBC 2’s Never Mind the Buzzcocks and The Bubble, E4’s Skins writer, Edinburgh Comedy Award 2010 nominee and all round good egg JOSIE LONG. Josie Long strikes an adroit balance between fun, moral outrage and indignant mockery of our hideous powers-that-be. The Guardian
- Creator of Edinburgh Festival sensations and sell-out Soho Theatre runs Doctor Brown Because and Dr Brown Becaves, twice nominated for the Malcolm Hardee Award for Comic Originality and 2012 Barry Award winner DOCTOR BROWN. So stupid it will eventually plop back into the realm of bizarre genius… the face of a stoned tourist and the demeanour of an idiot, obscuring the fact that his physical comedy is timed to perfection and full of original ideas. The List
- Colourful, camp cabaret from cult phenomena FRISKY AND MANNISH. On paper, it’s next-to impossible to do justice to what happens during a Frisky and Mannish gig. The Telegraph
- Rhod Gilbert’s BBC Radio Show regular and star of Chris Addison and E4’s Show and Tell ELIS JAMES. Welsh fireball Elis James makes for a delightful idiot. Chortle
- Chortle Student Comedy Award finalist and maybe winner as it hasn’t happened yet 2012… guitar-wielding DAVID ELMS. Intelligently comic and joyously silly. Broadway Baby
