Following its successful debut in 2010, Himalaya Film & Cultural Festival returns for its second year at venues across London.
Rich Mix is hosting the Opening Party with live music from Nepal bands U n Us and Yak Attack. U n Us are based in the Gurkha barracks at Folkestone - the band gives traditional Nepalese music a modern twist, using with western instruments and taking their ancestral culture in striking new directions. London-based Yak Attack fuse funk and afro-beat with Asian rhythms and Himalayan mountain melodies, for a sound that is as original as it is danceable.
