Rich Mix Artist in Residence, Lee Smikle is seeking submissions of interest for ‘Free to Fall’ – a regular event at Rich Mix in Shoreditch. Free to Fall is a scratch night where both emerging and established choreographers and visual artists can share new works in progress in an intimate theatre and gallery space. It provides a performance platform and forum for artists and audiences to interact and engage in lively debate about developing their ideas.
Share work before a final edit or first performance; use it as an opportunity to film work for marketing and promotion; invite industry professionals to view your work; or receive valuable peer and audience feedback. Whatever your performance, Free to Fall is a great opportunity to network, enjoy new work, and make links with possible future collaborators.
Submissions are welcome from visual artists, film makers, photographers, musicians and DJ’s interested in exhibiting/sharing works in progress linked to or with an interest in the theme and subjects of movement and collaboration.
