Brassroots continue to reach out to some of their favourite bands and artists and subsequently turn up the heat on the hippest 2nd Wednesday of the month in East London.
A 13 piece Balkan Brass Band based in London, the Trans-Siberian March Band are a group the likes of which you will not have seen before.
Their borderless bag of musical styles includes their own arrangements of Balkan, Klezmer, Ska, Turkish, Russian and Latin flavoured tunes and an increasing number of home grown songs penned by members of the band. They never fail to get people dancing!
Wielding a fearsome blend of two clarinets, two saxophones, three trumpets, two tubas, two trombones, guitar, vocals and two percussionists they look as loud as they sound and their energetic and reasonably silly shows have been enjoyed by audiences at festivals and venues throughout Europe.
*NB Brassroots will not be playing at this event
