Los Charlyís Orchestra, music project created by Venezuelan producers Juan Laya & Jorge Montiel.

Combining a retro but still modern sounding style, Los Charlyís Orchestra are characterize by creating a unique feeling that blends the Boogie-Disco sound of the 70's from a Latinesque perspective.

Among some of the talented members of the Charly's Orchestra: Ace Neo Soul icon Xantone Blacq, singer Rotimo Soul, Brazilian bass player Matheus Nova, Guitarrist Ed Ritches and Venezuelan percussionist Wilmer Sifontes in between many others.

Los Charlyís have worked in collaboration with some of the most prolific current producers of the contemporary scene such as Faze Action, Phil Asher, Joey Negro, producing a series of releases over the past 3 years to the delight of the global Disco/Funk scene.

The band has just released a new album (Chicano Disco Funk), which is already out on the usual UK music shops.

This CD is unarguably one of the most solid & authentic works of Neo Funk & Disco produced in Europe over the past 3 years.
