Could you act as an ambassador for our venue? Rich Mix is recruiting energetic and committed young volunteers aged 15-25 who are passionate about the arts, self-motivated and willing to take part in collaborative projects.
As well as becoming part of London’s most exciting cultural project, as an Ambassador you'll get the chance to:
- Discover the 'behind the scenes' of a cultural social enterprise
- Receive free tickets to cinema and cultural events
- Meet industry professionals based at Rich Mix
- Meet young people that share your interests and ideas
- Gain work experience that fits in with your time schedule
- Receive priority notification of relevant internships and job opportunities
- Take part in journalism, film and backstage opportunities detailed
here
The scheme also offers various ad hoc opportunities which have included:
- Free professionally led workshops in journalism and PR
- Work experience at BBC London
- Presence at the Youth Led Media Conference
- Support for funding applications for projects to be based at Rich Mix
PLEASE NOTE: We ask all our Youth Ambassadors over the age of 18 to commit to one hour of street flyering per month, alone or in a group. Flyering suggestions (places and times) are sent by Rich Mix. During these times, each Youth Ambassador takes full responsibility for themselves. In return for each hour worked you will receive 1 free cinema ticket (one ticket per month per person).
