Artists will also work on creating group poems and will teach parents storytelling techniques. The storytelling session will be led by local, bi-lingual poet and storyteller Shamim Azad and will be followed by a card-making workshop led by local artist Mohammed Zaman. This will be followed by a storytelling session on Saturday 11 October, tying into National Poetry Day on 9 October, and a further nine weekend and weekday sessions until Christmas. Saturday afternoons will be aimed at parents and children aged 7-11 year olds, while Monday sessions will be aimed at parents and toddlers.
