History
Whilst living in Brighton, Hal Chambers created Tucked In Productions with a number of like-minded performers in 2005. Six years on the creative team has grown and relocated to East London. We are more determined than ever in our efforts to create magical, non-patronising theatre for children.
Current show
Following our hugely successful debut family show Jackajack, Tucked In return with a beautiful and thrilling new family adventure. Tim and Light is touring nationally from June 2011, with 2 performances at Rich Mix on Saturday 30 July 2011 to celebrate becoming a resident company at the venue.
Next year Tucked In aim to create two new shows, as well as launching an extensive education progamme. We are excited about working with such a passionate, culturally diverse venue as the Rich Mix.

Tim is a lonely boy who wants to be friends with the most brilliant boys and girls in town. One day, him and his little cat, Light, unwittingly take a train journey to a moonlit Victorian house. In this magical world of shadows, the duo will need to discover what true friendship really means before it is too late. This brave new fairytale of hope, friendship and love follows Tim’s epic journey from boy to young man.
Tucked In are an award-winning ensemble of vibrant and talented performers, directors and designers whose aim is to make exciting new stories for a family audience through physical theatre, original music and puppetry. We burst onto the scene with Jackajack, which played at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2007 and then embarked on an extensive national tour. It gained sell-out audiences and 5 star reviews.
Following the premiere at the Lyric Hammersmith in February 2011, Tim & Light will tour the UK this summer including the Glastonbury Festival, Latitude Festival and Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
